Nika von Neumark is a gorgeous 1-2 year old German Shepherd mix with an exotic black and tan sable coat with golden highlights. An elegant mid-sized girl, Nika is bright and engaging, relates beautifully to people, and does great with other dogs. She loved her two 20-minute daily walks with her foster dad, then she was ready to go back and hang out in the house, looking very glamorous. She also enjoyed tagging along when he played poker with neighbor friends - she waited so patiently by his side, his pals sometimes forgot she was there. Nika has good house manners, is good on leash and enjoys every person and dog she meets along the way. She is highly treat-motivated, knows her "sit" command, and takes treats very gently. She is excellent in playgroups - social and friendly, a great greeter who occasionally engages in some play. We see this even-tempered girl doing well in many homes. She's ready to be your best friend and loving sidekick through life. (No cats please.)
